Ada Jane Smith's Obituary
Ada Jane Smith was born and passed away on June 7, 2025, in Germantown, Tennessee, surrounded by love. Though her time on earth was brief, she touched the hearts of all who awaited her arrival with joy and anticipation.
Ada Jane is the cherished daughter of Sam and Madi Smith. She is lovingly remembered by her maternal grandparents, Randy and Stacey McLendon, and paternal grandparents, John and Sandra Smith. She is also survived by her uncle, Tyler McLendon (Tara); aunts, Abigail Capps (Kevin) and Amy Wise (Harrison); cousins, Izzy, Claire, Cameron, and Daniel; and great-grandparents, Franklin and Catherine Rucker and Jimmy and Barbara McLendon.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jackson Dean McLendon, and great-grandparents, Edward Clayton Tucker, Quinnie Armstrong Tucker, Vernon I. Smith, and Lena Eloyce Smith.
A service to honor Ada Jane’s life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Independent Presbyterian Church. The family will receive family and friends for visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. A private burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Though Ada Jane’s time was short, her presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who love her.
