Mike and I extend our heartfelt love, prayers, love and sympathy to the entire Watkins family in this loss. We have so many fond memories of Uncle Gilbert. What sticks out most in my mind is the many summers of boating, skiing, camping and family reunions shared with all of you, Aunt Irene and Uncle Gilbert. I also remember looking for him each time I was at the Hickory Ridge mall, especially if I had my oldest granddaughter with me. She loved the carousel and he loved to watch her smile. Uncle Gilbert’s legacy will continue to live on in all of us who loved him. We do not plan to forget him. Rest in peace, Uncle Gilbert. We love you. Fly high with those angels!
