I have a lifetime of memories of sweet Gilbert Austin. He was a man of great Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and lived it. Mr Gil had a way of greeting people that made you feel great. He would raise his eyebrows, say “well heeeyyyy” as if you were the most important person in the world. His whole face smiled at you and made you feel warm inside. Over the years I loved watching he and his brother Tony singing in quartets at church. They had such a special bond and often kidded with each other. Without a doubt Mr. Gil loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grands dearly and was proud of them. May the Lord bring you all comfort knowing Mr. Gil smiles today in heaven.
