Eleanor Frances Maynard Novarese

Eleanor Frances Maynard Novarese was born 17 February 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to her parents, Connie Priestly Maynard and Lulu Belle Heidelberg. She was one of 9 children. She was married to William Harding Novarese for 53 years. She is survived by 2 children, William Frank Novarese and Lisa Karen Novarese Gooch. Sister Novarese leaves 2 grandchildren, Joseph Anthony McCarty Andreuccetti and Ashley Nicole Gooch. She leaves 8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Frances had a beautiful singing voice. For many years she sang with Young America Sings chorus on radio and was a featured vocalist. She worked as a Junior Coordinator, and bookkeeper at Imperial Bowling Lanes and retired from there after 21 years of service. Sister Novarese was a life-long and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and, at the time of her death, was the oldest member of the Church in Memphis. She was truly a pioneer. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, Tennessee 38106 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her honor.
