Throughout the process, we felt supported, all questions were answered, and we felt cared for and about. While we decided not to disturb our loved ones, we so appreciate these people at Memorial Park who helped us successfully navigate a difficult time. We know we are in good hands when the time comes for our own needs to be met.”

“The shock of losing a loved one is something unimaginable. Luckily my father and I had toured the Memorial Park Cemetery about a year before his passing and he found it to be a wonderful place he wanted to be laid to rest eventually. Unfortunately I received the news that he had passed, and within 1 hour of his passing the hospital was already asking for what funeral home to send the body and get in contact with. Luckily I knew exactly where to go. If you're reading this review, you're probably trying to decide whether this is an acceptable place to send your most cherished loved one. I can say without any hesitation that my experience was 10/10. If you want more details about the fantastic service and experience please read below: - I am not from Memphis, I live out of state. I thought being far away from the site would be difficult, but working with Charian (Funeral Director) was a blessing from God. - I was concerned that I might be bounced around from one person to another and have to explain myself, but I worked with Charian from the first call to the last call. It is so helpful and it is to only have one single point of contact for all of the planning. Charian was organized, helpful and compassionate. - I feel like whatever kind of service YOU want to have, Memorial Park will accommodate it. There were many decisions that I had to ask for advice about or "What do people normally do?" and all of their suggestions were so helpful when I didn't have an answer. - The planning was methodical but not stressful. I felt like I didn't know where to start when it came to planning a wake and service, but having the guidance and resources made things so much easier. When there were items that needed to be followed up with, they were on top of them. - The day of the wake and service was perfect. I laid in bed the night before stressing about how things would go, but it was incredible how much the staff helped solve any issue we could have had. As the services went on throughout, I was able to take time for myself and experience the event as a participant with my family and not as an organizer of the event. - My family was blown away by the professionalism and services provided by the staff on the days of our events. I was so nervous that family members would pick apart my decisions, or criticize how things would go, but they went off without a hitch. If you've made it this far in the review, I'd like for you to know, I've been where you are at. I had to make this decision, and it was one I was terrified to make. But you will be in good hands.”

The staff was compassionate, patient, and truly attentive to every detail, making sure our loved one was honored with dignity and respect. They took the time to explain each step, answered all of our questions, and made the entire process as smooth and comforting as possible. The facility was beautiful and peaceful, and we never felt rushed or overlooked. I especially appreciate the extra effort to go make a rubbing of the burial site in Desoto county, to be sure the correct items were found.
