  1. For Sharon Herbers and family

    Written by: Michael Schulte

Dear Sharon: I just learned of your Mother’s death. My condolences and sympathies to you and your family. When we met on 10 August, I recall your Mother would be moving to the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I regret her loss intervened with that plan. Words are never adequate at times like these; however, I do believe we can keep our loved one alive in our hearts by sustaining their memories. Please do not hesitate to let me know if I might be of any assistance, now and as you begin your new academic adventure. Michael Schulte

Bill and Sherry, this is Spence Wilson writing (Kemmons’ oldest son). I was very sorry to learn of the death of your mom and that I did not see the notice until too late this morning to be able to be present for the 10am service and yesterday’s visitation. You have been in my thoughts and I hope that I will have an occasion to see one or both of you in the near future to speak in person with you. Your mom and your dad were wonderful associates of our family company and I am very glad I was able to work with both of them.
My email address is and my cell is 483-2289. If I hear back from you I’ll try to find a convenient near term time to call and/or visit.
