I am Hoàng, a friend of Uncle Trung. I used to visit Grandma’s house (Aunt Mai, Aunt Loan) in the Tân Sơn Nhất Air Force Residence.
Since April 30, 1975, I lost contact with your family. It was only recently, thanks to the Internet, that I found information about you. But it broke my heart to learn about you through Memorial Park Funeral & Cemetery.
Today marks ten years since you left this world. After all these years of searching, I never expected to find news of you in this way. Knowing that you are no longer here, I cannot help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. The memories remain vivid—your joyful, innocent smile, as if it were just yesterday.

In 1975 I met Kim Anh in Camp Pendleton after her arrival in the US from Vietnam. We sponsored her and she became my roommate. Even after such hardship she was sunshine and joy, uplifting and loving to everyone she came in contact with. Her beautiful spirit and smile have stayed with me all these years and will be with me forever. I hope she knows how loved she was. In my heart forever and ever sister. Ruth

Kim was one of my favorite people I ever met. She shared her family story with me several years ago and I was amazed and motivated by their courage, work ethic and love for one another. She is a great story of rising from a challenging situation and achieving what America could offer. She became a real professional in her field and I loved working with her. She was so smart, technically on top of all matters, always produced excellence in her work, put customers first and was very patient.
