Mr. Tom Richmond Tong age 90 of Cordova, Tennessee, passed away on February 3, 2022 at St. Francis - Bartlett Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee. He was born on October 11, 1931 in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi to the late Jue Tong and Annie Fong Tong. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Sutton. Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Martha Thweatt Tong; four sons, Mike Tong (Miriam) of Cordova, Tennessee, Chris Tong (Denise) of Hernando, Mississippi, Paul Tong (Dena) of Moscow, Tennessee and Patrick Tong (Kathy) of Bartlett, Tennessee and one daughter, Cynthia Walker (Jeff) of Jackson, Tennessee. Other survivors include ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Servings as pallbearers will be: CJ Tong, Greg Walker, Kevin Tong, Drew Tong, Brad Sutton, Brian Sutton, Eli Tong and Jeff Walker. Services for Mr. Tong will be conducted on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00am in our Riverside Chapel with Pastor Vincent Choi, officiating. The Tong Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 9:00am until the service hour. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
