Ruby Vinay
August 30, 1922 - January 12, 2022
Ruby Vinay, 99, ended her earthly journey on January 12, 2022 as she wished sitting in her chair in her apartment having a snack at Town Village where she lived for the past 13 years. She did beautiful handwork and her hands were never idle. She had a fun-loving spirit, was an avid Aggravation player and rarely missed Wheel of Fortune. Until recent years she loved dancing, camping, fishing, and her rose garden. Her cookie jar was the first stop of her grandchildren when visiting. She was the widow of James E. Lomax and Michael Vinay. Her love of family could not be matched. She was loyal, caring and loving to family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Joseph) Ferloni and Betty (Charles) Evano, three grandchildren, Shirley Evano, Charlie (Lisa) Evano, Julie Ferloni Buttell, four great grandchildren, Connor and Aidan Evano; Ellie and Claire Buttell. Special devoted niece, Kathy Ellis; Ruby was the second of 10 children born to Albert and Emma Murray Roberts. Survived by brother, Billy Roberts, sisters, Margie Barber and Florine Graves. Dear friends, Don and Charlotte Haynes. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
