Michael "Mike" Lee Bonnell was born on September 18, 1942 in Dover, Ohio to the late Edith and Frank Bonnell and passed away on June 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vanderberg Wallace of Holly Springs, MS, a brother, Joe Gowins of Philadelphia Ohio, a sister, Rebecca S. Vickers of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Mike served two years in the Ohio National Guard and five years in United States Air Force. He was an amateur photographer, guitarist and stock car racer. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 8:30 am until the time of service at 9:30 am. The service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 56568 Poplar Avenue. There will be a private graveside service held at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Please bring a mask to wear per Shelby County regulations. Pastor Paul Bryant of Cross Creek Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi will be officiating the services.
