Margaret Sheng
July 5, 1934 - December 7, 2020
Margaret Sheng was born on July 5, 1934 in Beijing, China. She escaped war and turmoil in China during her childhood and younger years. She met her husband, of fifty years, K. T. Sheng in Hong Kong, got married, and moved to the United States where she learned a new language, new culture and raised her family. She lived the American dream. She was a wife, a mother, a teacher, an artist and a friend. She was a devoted Christian and her church and church community were very important to her. Margaret always noticed the beauty in things big and small, at times, even in the mundane. She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Jeff Barnes), grandsons Joseph and Kai, her sister Susanna Tung(James), brother Bill Wang, and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, all memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
