Juaquine Tirzah Oak Fritts: November 5, 1924 – January 30, 2020. Jodie was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. After graduating from high school she worked for GE Corporation, where she met Earl William Fritts whom she married on July 15, 1950. During her life she worked in a small rural post office and was a plane spotter during the Cold War years following WWII. She learned to fly from the pilot holding pilot license #7, Laura Young. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing bridge. She participated in the Women’s Club of Jacksonville. She greatly enjoyed traveling the U.S. and the World visiting Japan, Russia and most of Europe. After living most of life in Jacksonville, she and Earl moved to Germantown TN to be closer to her only daughter, Susan (Charles) Burnett and her two grandsons, Tripp and Matt. She enjoyed attending their baseball and hockey games. Someone wrote that she was the Jackie Kennedy of her family: style, grace, and class. At the time of her passing, she was a resident at The Village of Germantown and leaves many friends, who she met there. The family requests any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice
