To Dr. Taylor’s Family,
Just want the family to know that Dr. Taylor was my ONLY obgyn for MANY years!! My sister recommended him to me! I loved going to him–he’d sit & talk like I was the ONLY patient he had that day! I prayed for him when he got ill & was sad when he retired–there’s not many docs left like him!! He was LOVED by MANY!! I recently found out another friend of mine had been a patient of his for many years (he delivered both of her sons!)–we had a good conversation about him! I was out of town during his visitation, but he was in my thoughts that day!! Rebecca was always there by his side–what a team they made! God bless his soul & comfort his family! RIP Dr. T!!

This hurts my heart. He was such a good man and Wonderful Dr. I trusted him with my life for almost 40 years. He touched so many lives. I’m sure many are as saddened as I am to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Dr. Taylor, you were the BEST!

Dr. Taylor was a wonderful man, as well as a physician. I had the privilege of having him as my doctor for 32 years and working for him for 11 years, before he retired. He will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to the Taylor family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength you need during these difficult times.He was the kindest and most caring doctor I have ever met. He had such a deep passion for his field. He often told me if I had to do it all over again, I would choose the same profession. He was so highly respected by all. He touched many lives and his legacy will live on forever.My mom and I were patients of Dr. Taylor for over 40 years. He and nurse Rebecca were an amazing team. You can tell they both had such a fondness and respect for one another. He was so good with my mom whom didn’t speak a word of English. He would wait for me patiently to translate in Cantonese as he nodded/smiled before proceeding. We had the honor of him delivering our two daughters in 1990 and 1994. He always asked about them and was so genuinely happy when our oldest daughter got accepted to UT medical school and her first choice of residency.I love hearing about his family, weekly golf outings, golf trips and his love for Duke basketball. He was so thrilled when I brought back the NCAA winning Coke can and souvenir cup when Duke won in 2015. He said he will proudly display it on his shelf.One of my most precious memory was the last personal phone call I received from him on March 2018 upon receiving my card and letter praying for his illness. It touched me deeply he took time out of his recovery to call me. He was an outstanding doctor but most importantly a beautiful human being.We all love him and will miss him tremendously. He was a blessing to me and my entire family.

Herb and Tony- Grant and I are so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. When my Dad had a massive heart attack on the tennis courts at Whitehaven Country Club, your Dad was on the golf course and came down and resuscitated him, and kept him alive until the ambulance could get there. He survived solely because of Dr. Taylor. We were always so grateful for that. I also remember coming back from our honeymoon and learning your Dad had thrown his back out dancing at our wedding reception! That always makes me laugh!! Your Mom and Dad were always so fun and full of life. Your folks will always be a part of our memories.

Loved Dr. Taylor (your Dad and Grandfather) he was such a compassionate, caring man. He was may Dr for 30+years and loved him for reminding me yearly about weight gain! My condolences to his family and Rebecca (his nurse).

I just read Amber Armes’ post from his birthday party and then this obit today…I’m so very sorry for the family’s, friend’s, staff’s and patient’s loss. I was one of the latter and always felt so at ease with his care. A dear and kind man; I especially love Tony’s tribute to his dad. Dr. Taylor, not goodbye, but “see ya soon”.

I was one of his patients since Dr. Henry passed away. I first was introduced to him by Dr Henry a long time ago. I don’t have proper words to express my thoughts and feelings about both doctors.
