Gloria Louise Bernardini

Gloria Louise Bernardini was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 6, 1931 and passed away on the morning of January 25, 2022. She is survived by her two children, Michael Bernardini (Lisa) and Judy Maranise; two grandchildren; Anthony Maranise and Whitney Bernardini. Other survivors inlcude five sisters; Dorothy Mason, Jean Longhill, Pat Spanier (Mike), Judy Deming (Johnny), Kathy Sesti and numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 47 years and 5 months, Mario A. Bernardini, her parents; Michael J. Denegri, Sr. and Mary Sheenan Denegri; a brother, Michael J. Denegri Jr. and numerous brothers and sisters. Gloria attended sacred Heart High School and after graduating, went to work for Stanley Home Products until retiring in the 1980:s. Later was the receptionist at the Monastery of the Poor Clares in Frayer. She loved making ravioli with family and friends and had it down to an art. In her early years she loved bowling and made a bet with her then Fiancé, Mario that she could hit a 7-10 split and did it! Mario paid that $1 bet and she still has kept it till this day. Now, That's true love. Gloria was a very generous and loving person with a heart of gold and would do anything for her family and friends. Our Hearts are broken and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Love you Mamaw! In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the of dearest charities to Mrs. Gloria's heart, St, Jude Children Research Hospital or The Monastery of St. Clare, 37 McCauley Rd. Travelers Rest, SC 29690. The Bernardini Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm in the Riverside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rosary Service beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
