Chad Eric Weatherford, 41, of Memphis, passed away on March 11, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. Chad graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in English and had recently earned his Tennessee Teaching Read Obituary
I have a lot of fond memories created with Chad, Rick, Ethan, Jessica and Jenny. We had so many fun times together that still make me laugh when I think of them. I worked with Chad for six years at the bookstore in the Laurelwood Shopping Center. Chad was absolutely one of the good guys. Chad was a low key and solid workhorse. He was not a show off and was not overbearing about insisting on his way. He was very unselfish. He just did his job and always did it very well. He was great at helping customers and his coworkers. Regardless of how chaotic things got in the store with customers or work load, Chad was always reliable, calm, and steady. He could be depended on in any circumstance. While he did have the sad face all the time, he had a great sense of humor and was always great fun to be around. I know every person who had any connection to Chad will miss him as much if not more than we will. My prayers and deepest sympathies to Chad’s family and his many friends.
