Bob McCarter, 77, on February 17, 2022 The University of Memphis Tigers lost a tremendous fan. He has been a regular at Tiger football and basketball games his entire adult life. Better known to most as Bob, Bobby,Mcgee, Father, or Gdaddy. He was born March 1, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Geraldine and Ernest Robert McCarter Sr.. He was a veteran of The Navy and served in Vietnam war alongside his brother Terry McCarter better known as Mr. Bigg and many lifelong friends. A very simple man that had a passion for sports especially the Tigers and The St. Louis Cardinals. He had 3 dogs Titus, Maddy, and Dolly he loved dearly. Just recently the organization he founded with his brother and best friend The Americans were inducted into The Warren County Sports Hall of Fame. He had a major influence on so many young men. He is survived by so many loving family members his children Shayne McCarter wife Teresa. Ginger King husband John, Lane McCarter wife Kim, and Shelby McCarter. Alongside Many Grandkids, Brad and Cady McCarter. Camille and Justin King Addyson Pearl and Maddoc McCarter. One Great Grandson Elijah McCarter. He is also survived by his wife Pam and her children Amanda Richardson daughter Kiera and Jeremy Vosburgh and daughter Chloe. Also many nieces and nephews. May he rest in peace and continue watching over his beloved Tigers. Go Tigers Go!! The family will have a private service @ Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be made to the Memphis and Shelby County Humane Society,
