Rohini Parikh passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on December 29, 2023 at the age of 83. She was the daughter of Jayantilal and Taraben Parikh and sister of Meena Shah. She was predeceased by her devo Read Obituary
I had the opportunity to meet Rohini bhabhi in 1965 - almost 58 years ago. Prabhakar bhai had called from Memphis that Rohini was visiting New York to spend a few days with her friend Harini and I if I was free to take her to see EXPO ( mini Worlds fair ) in Queens. I was studying at N.Y. University. I accompanied her two days to see Expo. One day she also prepared potato subji and pulao for my room mates. We enjoyed her visit.
Over the years we met a few times, our visits to Memphis and their visits to east coast. Rohinibhabhi was a loving , simple and caring person who liked to smile in her unique way and an excellent host.
May Shri Krishna shower his grace and kindness in her new home.
