There are so many memories of spending the night at Mamaws when I was a child. Every time she would let me stay up late watching basketball or wheel of fortune and we never missed an episode of HeeHaw! She would then tuck me into the guest bed and wake me up in the middle of the night for a little treat of strawberry ice cream. I also remember waiting for the mailman in the afternoon. She would let me make him a sandwich and take him a cold can of coke. Mamaws sweet tea will also be missed for sure!

I remember visiting Memaw and Pepaw when they lived on Hoskins Road. My sister, Chrisitine Gale Clark, and me, John Henry Clark playing in their grape vine orchard, and eating some of the grapes, hoping we didn’t get caught. 😀 (But, I think Memaw knew what we were doing. 😂) I don’t think we ever got punished. One of many reasons why I love Memaw, so much!!!😇
