I am so sorry to hear of Danny's accident and passing. I enjoyed Mr Johnson science class with Danny, even though he ruined the 'curve'.....and class reunions, discussing his incredible work with colors. So bright, humble and interesting......he will be missed. Scott Masingill
On behalf of Datacolor Inc., where Danny acted as Research Manager from 1984-1998, I offer condolences and sympathy to Phyllis, Bryan, Brandon, and Amanda. During those 14 years, Danny was deeply respected as an ambassador from Datacolor to professional societies, standards bodies, and informal technical discussions. He also amplified the technical expertise and morale within Datacolor. Although my years at Datacolor did not overlap his tenure, I have been aware of Danny’s legacy, and many of our technical people continued dialogue with him long after he had moved to Sun Chemical. Many regard him as a mentor.
I can only imagine the family’s grief at Danny’s sudden passing. My prayers reach out to his wife and children.

I worked with Danny at Sun Chemical for quite a number of years. He was a great mentor and friend. It was always a joy to meet or talk with him inside and outside of work.
