I’ve been to the office at least 10 times knocking and getting no answer, I decided to google his name and I’ve run in to this, My friend, my doctor, you will forever be in my heart, you were a beautiful soul inside and out, I will miss you soooo much, Rest In Peace my friend, until we meet again, tell your wife I said hello, much love ❤️
Dr. Lewis and his wife were beautiful people inside and out. He was my optometrist for over twenty years. He always asked " Does this make it better?" He kept a smile and treated everyone with kindness. He will be sorely missed. I send my prayers to his family.

Dr. Lewis was my first optometrist at my age of 8! I loved going to his office because it was so cozy. The wait always took awhile, but he knew how to keep us entertain with a little joke here and there! My mom told me about his passing earlier this year, but I just was thinking about him today and had to confirm for myself. He had a heart of gold, and I know that he may be still passing out cards in heaven. Thanks Dr. Lewis for helping me become patient throughout life, as well as your continuous offering of the daily bread. You have been missed and I pray that your family is doing well!! Save me a place up there. God bless!!

Dr. Lewis will be missed! His patients loved him. My first job working in an optometrist office was at his office. Everyone in Memphis has probably seen him at least once! I am praying for the family.
