Bill was a wonderful Christian son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. I will miss his smiling face and humor. We always got to talk about old times. He had a kind and caring spirit. Love you Bill.
My heart is broken that Billy is not with us anymore. He has been a big part of our lives. When Hollis and I had a date in high school Billy would very often go with us. When we returned to our apartment for the first time after we were married he was sitting in the driveway waiting for us. Hollis has always loved Billy and said he was like another brother. We are in South Dakota and cannot be there Saturday but we will be thinking of Genie, Britt, and Geoffrey.
Dear Genie and Sons.. I have known Bill since we were very young in Corinth. We went to church together. He loved the YMCA. I know he was dedicated to young people to let them know they were special because someone made him feel special. Our son, Jay was a goalie at a very young age and his number was the #1. Bill came to his games to say, “Who is the #1 goalie.. yes it is Jay Papasan”. Parents don’t forget the encouragement Bill gave to so many. He paid it forward. May God reward him as well because of this and his Christian life. Loving this happy special man who was our special friend and State Farm Agent as well.
We are so sorry for the family’s loss.
Praying for the Linder family. I’m going to miss Bill. There will never be another one like him.
I love you all and am so very sad. May God hold you tight. Uncle Bobby was there along with his parents. He saw Jesus! May we all live by his example. I love you all.Lisa Wroten Whitenton
One of the Best Men I have ever known…..So thankful for him and his life well lived. He will be missed greatly. Love and prayers to all the family.
I had the joy of getting to know Bill when I was an employee at Peterson Insurance many years ago. I worked with his sons, Britt & Geoff. I remember him being funny, thoughtful and caring. My thoughts and prayers are with the Linder family as they go through this difficult time.
Billy was a member of the great class of ‘61 at Corinth MS High School. He was not only a classmate but also a friend for many years. We lived close by in Memphis and he was our first State Farm insurance agent. What a great guy. He’ll be missed terribly. Ann
