Edith McLure, 91, of Memphis, passed away July 26, 2010 at Heritage Place Retirement Community where she lived. Mrs. McLure was retired from First Tennessee Bank. She was a faithful member of Second Presbyterian Church for many years. After retiring she did volunteer work for MIFA. She is known for her gentle, quiet and friendly nature. She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley Shelby of Collierville, and Edith Branson of Monroe, LA: a son-in-law, William Shelby of Collierville; five grandchildren, Danny, Brian and David Shelby of Collierville; Kellye Branson of Hendersonville, TN, and Kevin Branson of Monroe, LA; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 5-8 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
