Marc Walker, 53, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Methodist University Hospital. Marc attended Hope Presbyterian Church. He loved serving his family and friends. Marc and his family have been strengthened by their faith and love, and the verse of Isaiah 40: 31, which says, “Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Marc is survived by his wife, Rita, parents, Sharon and James Walker, his daughter Bonnie (Danny); his son, Chandler; daughters, Laura and Jessi, his brothers, Steve, David (Sharon), Darrin (DeeDee), his grandmother, Marie Lee, granddaughters, Alexis and Brooklyn, Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Robert, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Marc was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Gridley and his grandfather, Lyman Lee. A visitation will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 6 – 8. A Memorial Service will be at Hope Presbyterian Chapel Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. A private interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
