The musical tribute, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, at the Memorial Park made the celebrations even more special. In the beautiful surroundings of the Crystal Shrine Grotto, families gathered to honor their loved ones. Rev. Shirley Lynn spoke about the special place that mothers occupy in our lives. Students from the University of Memphis played classical music which was greatly appreciated by the audience.

 
 
Twenty four white doves were ceremoniously released atop the Cave of Machpelah. The sight of the doves soaring skyward was an awe-inspiring moment. There were many with tears in their eyes and as they nurtured special thoughts for their beloved mothers.
